  1. Love the Craft Ice

    I love this fridge. I have put them in the last three homes I have built. Counter depth it is very important. The fridge doesn't feel cramped, there is more than enough space for a small family. The Craft ice maker is the icing on the cake. We had a three day power outage due to a hurricane, and the frozen food stayed frozen enough to continue to use. I wouldn't have another refrigerator other than this LG.

    Just got it so tough to rate but so far all hood. Purchased directly from LG. First had a cooling issue. LG replaced very quickly without argument.

    I received this refrigerator work very nicely. It is smaller then the fridge I had before. I like that it is smaller but it has more compartments.

    Have to turn way down to keep cool but I love the glass door with 2 way access. We are on our third craft icemaker in 5 months so stay away from that option!

    The refrigerator has been a maintenance nightmare. It's barely four years old and it has gone through three compressors. It also leaked and caused rusting behind the refrigerator. This LG product is a complete nightmare to own. Steer clear of this garbage product.

    Owned for 17 months and had 7 service calls. First 3 weee after a month. Ice maker doesn’t make ice. We own LG microwave, LG stove and 77” LG OLED tv. It their refrigerators are the problem

  11. Great Features but compressor issues

    We LOVE our refrigerator from LG but we have had 2 separate compressor issues since we purchased it 6 years ago. The first one was 3 years in and they had to replace the compressor. The second was in 2026 and there was a gas leak (coolant) so they had to replace the compressor. But, the ice is amazing and we LOVE the Craft Ice our fridge also makes. Overall, without the compressor issues, we've really loved this product.

    This is our second LG refrigerator in six years.They both turned out to be absolute junk... The ice maker failed in both units periodically fails too on cooling The water dispenser on the door has also failed on both units. Definitely not buying LG anymore!

    It has not been cooling correctly since may. I've been calling LG since May 27 and they seem like there is no rush to get it fixed.

  15. Brand new with error code and not possible to service it in-home.

    It displays a code "CF-E" on the door and once a day will stop cooling until I unplug it for five minutes to reset it. This thing is only a few months old! It's way too big to load into a truck and drive somewhere (also I don't own a truck or have people to help load it from my second floor, so this would be very expensive).The repair companies in my area will absolutely not touch LG refrigerators. They are specific about not servicing LG because apparently new problems arise on LG refrigerators when being repaired. Even LG says that they can only be serviced by an LG technician and no one else. The repair places agree with LG on this. LG customer service says it needs to be serviced by an LG technician and I am on my own to figure out how to accomplish this. They will not send anyone. They also are not going to pay for any of it unless I bring it to them. The closest LG service center is 2.5 hours away in a different city. Yet, they were HAPPY to sell me the refrigerator and deliver it to me here where I live!This thing looks beautiful and the exterior door and extra flex drawer are very useful. I really, really want this thing to function, but it is a lemon right out of the box and I am left on my own to figure out how to fix it. LG has their money and I have a new refrigerator that I may have to dispose of. Buyer beware! Read more
