The capacity this fridge has is amazing. The compartments are great for separating out your vegetables and meat. The temperature controls for the different areas are a great feature that leaves you in total control and keeps food fresher for longer.

Had a competitor's two door, two drawer refrigerator which we loved. Buyer asked for it when we sold our house 6 years ago. A Samsung refrigerator came with the new house and we really liked it. When our garage refrigerator went out, we decided to move the Samsung to the garage and get a drawer refrigerator. We looked at the brand we had at our old house and the Samsung. Turns out we liked the Samsung better, so we purchased it. We are very pleased with the purchase. The freezer capacity is very large, yet we are able to find items easily. The shelf arrangement is very flexible and again, makes it easy to find things. The drawers in the refrigerator section are very handy for storing vegetables and fruit as well. The drawer under the refrigerator section is what really sold us. The drawer rolls out easily and is very convenient. The adjustable divider adds a lot of flexibility. It is great for storing things you need often like eggs, cheese, lunchmeat, bacon, breakfast sausage, cheese sticks, and other items. The stainless steel finish looks great and matches our other appliances. We set the temperatures when we first installed the refrigerator and have not had to change a thing. The control panel is very similar to our other Samsung refrigerator, which was easy to use, so there was no learning curve. The ice maker and water dispenser on the door work great. Love the crushed ice. Only complaint is that unlike our other Samsung refrigerator, which would dispense water and ice even if the refrigerator door was open, this one does not. If you open the right refrigerator door, the dispenser stops. However, it does not stop if you only open the refrigerator drawer. Refrigerator is easy to roll on the rollers. Other complaint is that you have to turn off the water to replace the water filter. This must be a Samsung thing as our other refrigerator also required the water to be shut off. So at least it is easy to roll out from the wall to turn the water off and on. The replace filter reminder on the control panel is a handy feature. Ours filter lasts about six months. The filter installs in the lower front of the refrigerator and is easy to replace. So far, we are very pleased with this Samsung refrigerator and are confident it will last for a long time. Meanwhile, our Samsung refrigerator in the garage is doing a great job. We are very pleased with Samsung refrigerators.

Okay Samsung. This is my second Favorite Frigerator with you. Same Model. Please explain why the door shelving is smaller than my older one and I was disappointed to see no pizza tray in the front freezer door. I kept my old one and placed it in there but of course it don’t latch in place however it fits. I absolutely loved the idea of pizza tray in front of freezer door. I place butter and cheeses and other smaller items there. Hope you can make these changes back for my next purchase with you.My frig lasted years except like others complained Ice maker broke second year however I didn’t care because I loved all the other qualities of this fridge. Hope this one you made changes on ice maker sense my last one. Absolutely 💯 love my fridge! Thank you!! Please bring back pizza tray in freezer.

I absolutely love this refrigerator. When I went in I was only purchasing a cook stove but the fridge caught my eye so I could not pass it up and I’m so glad I made the choice. The compartments are amazing and the cooling zone keeps everything just the right temperature. I love the smart technology with being WiFi capable. Would highly recommend!!

I love this refrigerator! The flex door is wonderful and useful . The freezer is huge and I love the sliding drawer . The ice and water in the door are great ., especially the crushed ice . The refrigerator has plenty of room and the veggie drawers with their own settings are great . It’s beautiful and easy to clean ! I can’t say enough good things about it . I enjoy how the fridge has an appointment for my phone to change temps in each compartment. Gives me updates of power usage, how many times each door or drawer is opened or closed as well as an alarm if left open after certain time period. Love the wide spaces in each compartments.

The tray for the water / ice dispenser should be deeper to catch any water or ice that may spill or melt ( too shallow). The shelves inside are spaced poorly for 1 gallon milk containers ( even moving it leaves no space for other items.

Bought about a month ago and so happy we upgraded to this refrigerator. It’s deeper than the old one, but sits perfectly in the same spot. And it fits a ton more than our old side-by-side. Black stainless looks beautiful too. The controls are easy to get to and use, so you can easily change how you want to use the middle drawer, for instance. This was a great purchase.

I installed this refrigerator just a week ago. The most impressive feature is the middle drawer which I set up for drinks and fresh fruit. These are the two items this refrigerator needs to be opened for, so I expect a significant savings by not having to open the French doors as often.

I am so pleased with my new Samsung refrigerator. I was worried that the icemaker issues that preceded the Samsung models prior to this one had been addressed by Samsung. Apparently, they have and the refrigerator is working super. I love the FlexZone Drawer. I use it for so many items. I purchased this same eariler model in 2021 but had no issues with my refrigerator. I love my unit and was so happy that Samsung addressed the issues with the earlier model. Thanks Samsung for placing the "Trust" back into a great company and their products. It matters so much for the End-Users that are so very busy in todays life style.

This refrigerator offers a large capacity in both the extra draw and the large freezer area. The finish is fingerprint free and the pull drawers are great ergonomically. The vegetable crisper works extremely well and the temperature stays steady. We like that, unlike our last Samsung, this one has the Ice and Water available outside the door. This keeps us from opening and closing the door to fill water bottles. Overall a really wonderful buy and we highly recommend this. PS the water filter is an easy change out, right between the vegetable and fruit drawers.

The compartments are easily adjustable. The freezer section is larger and easier to find items than my previous side by side. Love the third pull out drawer. Things we love are the French door style and the freezer drawer. We have another freezer in garage so only keep frequently used things in the freezer drawer. Middle drawer is super convenient. We use it to store our meal prepped lunches and leftovers. I do find the water filter to be tricky to change though.

Love the refrigerator, especially the top drawer. I wish it had the capability to produce 2 sizes of ice, or the ability to adjust the ice size. Some of the left door compartments are very small due to the water feature - i wish the water components could be a bit more compact. Overall, a great unit for the price.

Great Frig, but not so much on repairability

This is my second Frig of the same brand and style. The main reason I am only doing 4 stars is because of how the last one died and found out it would cost as much to fix as it would to buy a brand new unit. Although, I will say it is not just Samsung doing this it is all of them. The days of these items lasting 15 to 20 years is over, now you can expect much closer to 5 years and then replace.

Having ice and water in the door was a must-have for us buying a new refrigerator. But, I really wish we would have known that there was no light for the dispenser because we would have picked a different model then. Buyer beware, if you often have tall bottles of juice or wine, it takes a little getting used to with the flip-up and slide-in shelving. Also, it seems odd that the dispenser has about a 5 second delay when dispensing ice and the water that comes out is not chilled like our past 2 had.

Great new refrigerator- but the ad (no floor model) showed different ice options so when we got the fridge, there was only one ice machine, that is slow in dispensing from the door. The rest performs and is spot on that advertised. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is the ice issue. Otherwise, it is top of the line.

The capacity on the fridge is perfect, plenty of storage in the upper cabinet and doors, two sliding drawers for vegetables and deli. Lower drawere has a flexible drawere that can be at different temperatures and also includes a movable sliding rack to seperate foods. And bottom cabinet freezer has a mple storage thaht separates each side and also a sliding drawer that can be used in what ever you choose to freeze. Great refrigerator that is very quiet. The front door features access to chilled water, cubed and chipped ice. The stainless stell front is also very nice and looks very nice blending with othe stainless steel appliances.

Our new Samsung Refrigerator is the newer model of the unit we replaced. The reconfiguration of the shelves and the flexibility of the shelves is excellent. Everything about this refrigerator is great except for two items. The water and ice dispenser on our former unit had a light that illuminated the dispenser when dispensing ice and water, it was very helpful especially at night. The second problem is that when the water filter needs to be changed the water supply to the refrigerator must be shut off while changing the filter then turned back on when the change is complete. The previous unit an automatic valve that allowed the filter to be changed while the water to the unit was turned on. These two, very likely, money savers are in my opinion are big dissatisfiers.

Perfect size for my family! I like having the flexzone drawer for all my deli purchases. Easy to reconfigure for those times I have bigger pots I need to put inside. I like being notified on my phone when a door or drawer is left open and when the water filter needs to ordered/replaced. All my food is kept cold/frozen at the right temperature, which is great for those nights I want ice cream and I don't have to wait for it to thaw because it's kept at the right temperature to eat immediately.

I like everything about the refrigerator except that the ice maker sometimes jams up with cubes in the chute in the door. One remedy I’m trying is using the refrigerator at 36°F instead of the standard 37°. I hope that makes the difference. It would be nice if the middle drawer could also freeze things as well but it’s not designed for that so I only explain that as what if type thing

Refrigerator is well thought out in design. Large capacity and convenient drawer that converts from refrigerated space to freezer when needed. We only have one issue with it and is the left door doesn't stay open when you open it all the way. Otherwise great appliance.

I really love this Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door refrigerator. The capacity is awesome. It easily fits all my groceries with plenty of room to spare. The door and drawer setup makes it super easy to get to everything without letting all the cold air out. The shelves are flexible, so I can move things around depending on what I’m storing, which comes in handy more than I expected. The materials feel high-quality, and I really like the clean, modern look. It doesn’t show fingerprints easily, which is a big plus. Temperature stays consistent throughout, and everything stays fresh and cold just like it should. Overall, it’s quiet, stylish, and works perfectly. Definitely a 5-star fridge in my book.

I am pleased with the fridge overall but I had problems with the ice maker. Resetting it resolved the problem and at one time I had to disconnect/reconnect power to the fridge. I also have trouble with the display panel. Even though I change the water filter regularly, it doesn’t allow me to reset the change filter light.

So far it seems to be a pretty good fridge. I like the way the middle tray is adjustable. One thing that annoys me is that the buttons on the ice/water dispenser are finicky and hard to press and I expect they will give me trouble in future.

I absolutely love this fridge. It is very roomy and look great in my kitchen. I had always been reluctant to buy a bottom freezer refrigerator because I wasn't sure how much it could hold or whether I can locate items easily. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount this one will hold. The flex drawer is a nice touch. The only drawback if I had to give one is the ice bin doesn't hold as much as my old side by side, but still a decent amount. Other than that, I am glad I purchased.

Old Samsung fridge got very "long in the tooth", so we decided up update. We looked at other brands and various styles. We ended up with another Samsung, just a 4-door model similar to our old unit. We were surprised at how roomy it was inside. We assumed it might be less roomy than our former 3 door model but we were wrong. It is quiet and the Flex drawer fits our lifestyle perfectly. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Had it for a month now and it does a great job of maintaining temperature in all compartments. The cold-water dispenser is working well and the ice maker has had no problems. The only problem that I found was that the freezer drawer assembly did not come with the small freezer door bin for storage. It is very useful for small freezer items and I miss it since my old refrigerator freezer had it.

This was delivered last month - delivery was great, it started to work immediately and cooled down fast. It has been working perfectly ever since. I love the middle drawer! I can get into that without opening the full fridge and it is very easy to access. The black finish is beautiful and looks great against the granite countertop. I wipe it down once a week, but it stays clean. Very few fingerprints.

Purchased 3 weeks ago when our other refrigerator decided it had had enough. Since we needed a refrigerator as soon as possible (waiting 2-3 weeks was not an option), our choices were limited, but this one fit the general style that we were looking for and had good reviews, so we purchased it. It has been a great refrigerator so far. Love the water and ice dispenser option on the door. My only 'complaint' so far about the refrigerator is that the ice dispenser dispenses ice very slowly. But I can live with that. My wife loves the extra snack drawer, it helps keeps everything in the refrigerator nice and organized. Lots of room inside the main part of the fridge as well as the freezer.

We have had our refrigerator for three years now. Although I love the refrigerator within a year, the ice maker grows up and refuses to make ice now the seal on the freezer has given away, and there are no way to get a replacement seal for our freezer we are in the eighth week waiting for it and told it’s gonna be another 5 to 6 weeks yet. I don’t know that I can recommend this freezer because of the replacement parts delay. So now I have a freezer that everything is frozen together and we can’t use it anymore !!! waiting on parts.

This is a spacious refrigerator and looks great in my kitchen. 2 things I'm unhappy about are: the inside door shelves are unusual and seem to have less space than I would hope on this size of appliance. And second is that the ice maker just chooses to quit making ice cubes without warning. I currently have no ice to dispense and it isn't making cubes, even though 'Smart Things' says it is making ice. I can't even open up the ice maker to see what the problem is. According to my magical app that is supposed to tell me when there is a problem, it has no clue that the fridge isn't making ice cubes. The troubleshooting guide in the manual is useless. Written for those who forget to plug in their fridge or hook up their water. Last 2 times the fridge did this, it just suddenly started making cubes again. This time, it seems that isn't going to happen. Or it will and I wil just run out of ice again before I know there is a problem. Oh yeah... and the filter indicator refuses to reset after I changed the filter. Smart Things keeps reminding me to buy more filters to fix that problem. Not happy.

You have to be able to turn off your water source to change the water filter. It's a heavy unit and very difficult to tug out. The refrigerator itself is nice. If you are not willing/able to pull the unit out every time, or turn your water off at the source, you need to change the filter, I recommend going with a different company. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance.

Ice Maker Stopped Working

after 1 yr of use this fridge has excellent cooling/recovery when we load it up from a shopping run, or when we do a big family dinner. not so good is the ice dispenser, no feedback from the buttons, and the ice container must be up against the dispenser or ice flies out from the dispenser. worse is the design of the bottom glass. need 2 people and a small blade screwdriver to pry the locking tabs in to release the bottom glass. very, very difficult to remove.

We've owned this fridge for over 2yrs now. At first absolutely in love with it, the look and storage capacity was great. But after a few months we noticed the ice machine isnt as productive as it was at first. We own a old home and this was an issue with a previous fridge but after updating the water line and getting it all checked out its just a fridge issue the water stream is not the same its very slow we hardly use it the ice production is even worse. We have other family member with this fridge and it seems we all have the same issues

Great fridge until it wasn’t. A little over a year in (just after warranty lapsed) the ice maker started to frost over to the point where ice was hitting the fan and making a terrible noise nearly all day long. Had to eventually dismantle and turn off the ice maker. At some point will pay someone to fix it, but no ice for now.

All the fitting for the Bin are there, just not the Bin. We had one on our previous Samsung Refrigerator and it was a valuable feature. Very disappointing it is not included in this newer model. I purchased this refrigerator in August 2023, and almost exactly three years later, the Ice Maker stopped working. I followed all of Samsung’s troubleshooting instructions. I turned the power off and reset the refrigerator, replaced the water filter, checked the settings, and ran the ice maker test/reset. The test chimes and the mechanism moves, but the refrigerator still does not produce ice normally. What makes this especially disappointing is that nearly every appliance in our home is Samsung. I also used Samsung appliances when I lived in Korea, so I bought this refrigerator without hesitation because I trusted the brand. Now the warranty has expired, and I am likely facing a significant repair bill for an ice maker that failed after only about three years. For a refrigerator at this price point, having a major feature like the ice maker fail after only three years is simply unacceptable. I expected much better durability and reliability, and I don’t see a reason to pay this much for a refrigerator if such an essential feature cannot last longer than this.

1st it is cheap made, less insulation than previous model, less shelf adjustments. There is only 1 shelf adjustment and it sucks. My previous refrigerator went out - a Samsung. The only similar item was this new design. There is no bin in the freezer door and the old one doesn't fit - cheap! The selves are not as stable, thick, or sturdy with only 1 adjustment space - terrible. The door bins are smaller by 1 to 2 inches in width/length with no adjustment spaces available. I was limited in choices unless I could wait weeks for a replacement - I hate the way the downgraded this product - truly a drop in quality. Nearly every brand seems to have done the same thing. Limited adjustments, limited bins and shelving makes this design and product garbage. I have had it 2 days and really considering returning it! More more money lower quality! Our appliance choices in the US are just junk!

I’ve had this fridge for 3 years and it has been nothing but problems. For a brand new fridge, I thought there was no possible way this is common. Come to find out there has been a litany of lawsuits to include class action lawsuits because of the poor manufacturing and worst off, knowledge of the refrigerator problems by Samsung. Where to start, I guess we can start with water pooling underneath the cooler drawer/deli drawer. The water then freezes into ice and water continues to build until eventually it is overflowing out of the fridge into the floor ruining your floor and cabinets. Only way to mitigate this was to pull out the drawer and wipe it down with a beach towel at least once a week or it was overflowing onto the kitchen floor. Next, water somehow condenses underneath the fruit and vegetable drawers and sits right where the water filter goes. Problem: it grows black mold. Yea, if you don’t clean this water up in the main section of the fridge atleast once every two weeks, black mold begins to grow underneath your fruit and vegetable drawers right where your water filter plugs in. Remedy: clean this water up every two weeks. Ask me if this is a problem and if it makes you sick or your kids sick if you don’t know about this defect on Samsung fridges. Next, the famous ice maker problem. The ice maker doesn’t seal probably allowing warm air into the ice maker portion of the air eventually comes ing into ice and preventing your ice maker from making ice. Also, can’t pull out your ice box without breaking it because the ice grows down into the ice box so you can’t pull it out. Ask me how I know. Also, the least of my problems with this fridge, the ice capacity can fill up 2 8oz cups when full. If you need any more ice then that, no dice. Next and potentially the worst. Although I’m not sure what can be worse than your fridge growing black mold and/or overflowing water to ruin your kitchen floors and cabinets, but here it goes, refrigerator temperature says 37 degrees Fahrenheit and 3rd party thermometers, yes multiple brands, state anywhere from 44-51 degrees in the fridge. How is this a problem? Food grows bacteria and mold faster, food spoils faster, kids and you get food poisoning because the food isn’t maintained at a safe temperature, and people in the household are constantly getting sick for unknown reasons. I’m not talking about the sniffles, I’m talking about violently vomiting because of poorly refrigerated food how is this Samsung's fault? It is a known problem. Why would their fridge display “37” degrees Fahrenheit when in reality it is 46? Only Samsung knows. Worst part is they still sell these fridges with these known issues. Don’t take my word for it, Google it yourself. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Samsung appliances as you can. I don’t want anybody else to suffer as my family and I have.

I'm five years having owned this model and here to provide a longevity review. In the past four months , we have had to start defrosting the ice maker on a regular basis. The rubber piece connecting the ice maker to the dispenser we suspect no longer has a good seal , causing warmth into the ice maker and the freezing. A nuisance, but something that can be lived with at this point. Though I do fear in more time , it may start leaking out of the dispenser. My biggest issue at this point is the finish. A spot has appeared next to the dispenser, it looks like the finish is coming up? It keeps gradually growing. I am including a photo so it makes sense. Now is smaller, spot started to develop on the left side as well. For a product that should last 10 plus years, this is a huge disappointment. We're a household of two adults, so there had not been "wear and tear" on this appliance. There are features we like, but I don't recommend for the long term.

I purchased this refrigerator with great anticipation in 2021. I even purchased the extended warranty. Since the purchase the ice maker has been replaced twice and is constantly needing repair. The extended warranty ran out so I had to pay to have it replaced the 2nd time. And it is going out again (by now i can tell when it’s going out). It is just over 4 years old and already needing its 3rd ice maker. I called Samsung and they will not cover the cost to repair it or the part. After paying for the extended warranty AND paying to have it replaced I don’t want to pay again; especially if it only lasts for 1.5 years. I wa so disappointed in Samsung. I had purchased other products for a rental property and also for their family members. But NO MORE. I can’t continue to support them when they don’t own up to an obvious defect. I can’t recommend this product or their customer service. I was always a Samsung supporter but no more.

Buyers be careful! The fridge overall is great, however the ice maker is trash!!! It freezes and will not produce any ice. You’ll need to constantly use a hair dryer to melt the ice so that the ice maker works. If you figure this out later after the warranty expires like I did. Samsung will not help you and you will be stuck with an ice maker that doesn’t work. I have to use a portable ice maker for ice because my French door fridge is trash!

I’ve had this refrigerator for just over 5years. Every year something more goes wrong with it - the flexzone’s motherboard has went out 3x, the display malfunctions often, it beeps randomly and often, the ice maker has stopped working and needed to be replaced 2x, the temperature does not regulate that well and the door shelves are kind of small. My latest issue is the water dispenser drips constantly. We’ve tried fixing it, it still drips all over the floor. The flex zone handle fell off. There are spaces in the fridge that are impossible to clean, which is gross. Only good thing is that it is quite spacious

After having this for a couple of yrs the ice maker is constantly icing over, no matter what you do it it will still frost over & stop making ice. So far no solution has been found other then other people stating things a known issue with these fridges.

I have had this refrigerator for several years. The icemaker is continually freezing up and in need of replacement. The service it, replace it, and a few months later the same thing happens. Now my warranty is up and they won't do anything about, even though it is a know issue. Pretty sure I wont' buy anything Samsung again unless they actually do something about this.

I have had this refrigerator for 3 years and have had 3 repairs on the icemaker. The ice cubes get frosty, somehow warm air gets into the icemaker. It just stopped working again. Very disruptive and expensive to repair. Bad design on Samsung's part.

Do not recommend. The process to replace the water filter is ridiculous. I hurt myself every time. As I’m writing this I just broke a freaking nail. The ice maker is a known issue and they refuse to acknowledge it or replace it. Instead they want to charge me to send a tech out.

While the fridge functions well, taking out the shelves for cleaning is extremely challenging. Switching from our previous fridge to the 4-door Samsung fridge post-remodeling was a regrettable decision. Removing the shelves requires screwdrivers and considerable strength. Moreover, replacing the water filter poses its own set of difficulties. Overall, I strongly advise against purchasing this model.

I have had this fridge for almost 2 years and the ice dispenser has continuously leaked, ruining my wood floor. Multiple people have slipped on water puddle on floor even though I keep a towel on floor to prevent danger. This is very dangerous and I wish I never bought this fridge. They have sent a company to fix the problem 4 times (!) but it's worse after every 'repair'. The problem is the design and it cannot be fixed. Complete waste of money and i have wasted so many hours on the phone and taking time off trying to schedule repair visits. I deeply regret this purchase---stay away from Samsung fridges. I would be happy to post pictures and video in below space but interestingly it will not allow attachments.

Impossible to clean. Inherited this fridge from the previous owners of my current home, and I still have been unable to disassemble it. There are parts of the refrigerator that need a screwdriver…a SCREWDRIVER… to disassemble and even that still does not work. This refrigerator is disgusting.

I gave this product several month so as to make an honest evaluation. The replaced refrigerator was also a Samsung. Great product and the primary reason for choosing Samsung as a replacement. Overall, if I had the money I would SCRAP this disappointing product and buy something else. The only good feature is the external Flex Draw. The divider design of the draw is unique but could be more useful. The new door shelf design leaves less capacity than the old one. Whose dumb idea was it to eliminate the light in the water/ice dispenser. The new shelving level adjustments is less variable than the old fridge. Yes! If I had the money I would scrap this new product and buy a different model or even a different make.

Worst external water and ice dispenser system! It leaks water, if we are lucky that it makes ice, it gets stuck and most of the time, it stops making ice. PLEASE do not purchase this product. The warranty is only for 1 year and after that you are on your own. Read the reviews, do your research and you will see the complaints for this system is massive and Samsung refuses to assist after 1 year.

For the amount i spent on this refrigerator I was expecting a bit better quality. It scrathes SO easily and as for not being able to see fingerprints...psh..yeah right. You can see every single time someone touches the doors. As for the absolute WORST part of this fridge is the ice maker. Whats the point of giving me options for crushed versus cubed? IT ALL COMES OUT CRUSHED!! ALWAYS...The configuration of the shelves is awful as well, not much to customize inside because there isnt enough space. Terrible.Highly disappointed. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again.

Fell in love with this refrigerator in the store. Shortly after we purchased it, the icemaker quit. $250 repairs didn't last long. Veggies in crisper were partially frozen and ice crystals formed in freezer drawer. Then the icemaker quit again. Warranty doesn't mean much when the service call costs $200+ I'd never purchase another Samsung appliance nor recommend one. We've had it 2 years and paid for 2 service calls. Two other family members have the exact model refrigerator and have experienced the same problems.

Very temperamental ice maker. I'm not sure if lines freeze up. We regularly have it fail. Go through all the suggested steps and sometimes it comes back to life. The thing that usually fixes it, but not always, is to totally unload itf, unplug it for several hours and then repower it. Last time we got 3 cubes then it stopped working again. This seems like an unnecessary aggravation. Will likely have to spend hundreds for a repair call now.

We love this fridge except for the icemaker. The middle flex zone drawer is so nice with customizable temp control, depending on what you want to store in there. It's beautiful in our kitchen as well. However, we have the same issue as everyone else: the ice maker leaks some and then freezes up every few weeks. At that point I can defrost the ice with a dryer, then reset and it works again. I did see a "fix" on Youtube by adding insulation tape around the ice maker because it's just getting too warm. My husband hasn't had a chance to add the tape yet. Please consider buying another model that doesn't have an icemaker in the fridge compartment. We bought in 2020.

Buyer beware. We purchased this refrigerator 5 years ago and from the first year we have had nothing but problems with the freezer constantly refreezing. Every year to 18 months someone has had to come out and fix the frozen freezer issue. its become well known that this is an issue with this refrigerator but Samsung still refuses to do right by their buyers. We now have to buy bags of ice and manually fill the ice maker. Unacceptable.

Same complaint as others. Ice maker is garbage! Had it for about a year and it was stuck on crushed ice. Then the hopper would clog and drip all over. Another 6 months and the freezing up would start. Chipping away at the ice in the back was sometimes helpful but unplugging and thawing was the only sure fire way (mind you we owned it for only 2 years at this point). By year 3 we now buy ice at the store and pour it into the bucket for “dispensing”. Oh and BTW good luck getting the filter out to change. That took an hour of YouTube and prying with multiple screwdrivers. After the first one I got water delivery. That said, it cools well and it is smudge proof, so… half full??

It is leaking the water. And I requested repair service twice and paid twice. But issue was never been resolved. I had to clean the water every few months. Recently, it got worse. I had to clean the water every few days. And I asked the samsung support, they just keep asking me to pay for the new repair service, but why should I pay for the same issue again and again? They should fixed the issue at the first time!

About 2 years old now. Ice maker has not held up and every power outage the electronics will not reset properly. Love the general design. Very unhappy with the design of the electronics and associated operating system. Samsung also is not helpful with any diagnostics after a power interruption for getting the thing to reset- figured out how to do it with a Google search, but they wanted to send a a repair technician at my expense the two times I tried to use their services. Maybe some six sigma quality work is warranted here

Just recently purchased this fridge New Day 1/1/24 to replace my 10 yrd Amana after it died. Once I got this fridge home I had issues with the freeze not cooling all the way, seemed like the sensor for the freezer temp was off. After power cycling a few times, it finally started freezing properly. The next day it started making a growling noise in the fridge compartment that grew louder and louder each day (I'm pretty sure it's the fan in the fridge hitting the frozen compressor.) At this point, it just hums a bit and then stops every minute or so. Needless to say I'm sending it back, better safe than sorry. I own another Samsung fridge just like this one but a model older and in black stainless. Other than the "ice maker issues" everyone has faced it's been fantastic, but hey you win some you lose some.

Enjoy pulling your hair out trying to remove the drawers to clean this thing. Removal steps are missing from the instructions, The clips are hidden, can't be depressed with your fingers requiring a flat head screw driver to do so, they easily break. Then once you finally get the clips pressed the drawer itself doesn't just slide out, you'll have to remove the condiment drawers first and then MAYBE they'll come out. But will require a ton of twisting and jerking.

i was so excited to get this design. not happy at all! ive had it about 2 years and i think my ice maker has gotten completely stopped up at least 3 times and when you open the door to see what’s wrong, ice goes everywhere and makes a total mess!!!! the area where the ice comes down has no where for water to drain, so theres always water where ice chunks fall out constantly and melt and they lay around on it, sometimes in the floor too! i have to wipe that tray off constantly to keep water from running down the front of the fridge in the floor. it’s soooo aggravating! also, the ice cubes dont seem to be completely frozen and there’s always water or something mixed in, so it shoots water and ice in your drink. would def not buy again bc of the ice maker!

This refrigerator looks great, is spacious and has positive features. However, after 1.5 years it started dumping water from the middle drawer and there are mixed reviews as to why that is. We had to shut off our water line so no water/ice to the unit and at the mercy of repair people. For such an expensive refrigerator to break in less than 2 years is just disappointing. It's a better use of money to buy a cheaper one and just replace it every few years - because knowing it's cheap is better than pretending it's good quality just because it's a lofty price tag. Also, same issues with the ice maker prior to all of this - slow to fill cups, and the crushed ice feature barely works.
