Great space. Very functional

French door handles are easy to open and close. The build is solid. We like the shelves. I do wish the front drip was a little short. The slight lip loses some height. Water and ice are easy to use. The stainless finish is nice and helps keep little finger prints away.

Basic fridge, nothing fancy

The cheese/Deli tray was not designed well. You can’t open the drawer unless it hits the doors every time. Very bad design. Alarm when door left open is so quiet you can, hear it. Very basic fridge nothin fancy.

Best Ice dispenser

Over the years, I have struggled with many fridge ice makers where the ice will get jammed when dispensing or will freeze in the storage box. This fridge has been the best one yet to dispense and crush ice with no issues. Additionally, the storage has been great. Love the roll out tray above the produce drawers. Highly recommend this fridge

Excellent refrigerator/freezer. Very quiet, excellent at maintaining temperature. Access and operation of the ice maker is exceptional. Overall, very pleased. Exterior finish is also 5 stars. We would have given the refrigerator 5 stars, however, the position and size of the doors make it cumbersome when accessing the drawers and shelves. Both doors have to be fully open to access the bottom drawer. The right door has to be fully open to access the right drawer (ditto for the left side).

Nice unit

Nice large refrigerator. If I had to make one complaint it would be the door with the ice maker needs a way to tighten the hinges so the door stops where you open it. The refrigerator is level and before the door had ice or other items in the door storage it would stay open. Now the door will close on you hitting your arm etc.

Great "Larger" Refridgerator

My new KitchenAid refrigerator with 30 ft.³ is amazing. The only drawback that I have is that the door alarm is not adjustable. It is not quite Loud enough to be heard from the next room. The left door we often leave open because of carelessness. But other than that it is an amazing refrigerator the interior space is excellent the finishes are amazing

More Ice Please

Please make dual ice makers for this model. I don't want a counter depth one because it's not enough room but it's the only one that has 2 ice makers so you have enough ice for more than a few drinks per day. Or just make the in-door ice makers make and store more or way faster.

The only thing that is very bothersome about our new refrigerator is. The door with the icemaker in it will not stay open. It always closes back on you when you’re trying to get something out of the refrigerator. It is very inconvenient. Other than that, we loved the refrigerator so far.

The refrigerator is huge and does almost everything I want. The ice maker is minimally invasive of the refrigerator space. I would prefer if several things were different about it. First, that it wouldn’t loudly squeal several times a day. I have no idea why it does that. Second, that all the shelves could be moved to many different positions. Third, that the movable drawer in the freezer wasn’t so hard to pull forward. I am glad I bought it, even with these suggested changes.

Spacious inside but the unit takes up a good bit of space decreasing the depth the usable space. Ice production is quite loud and sounds like there is a water leak when the unit initializes. Temps inside the freezer and refrigeration compartment are consistent. The freezer space will well designed for optimal storage. Overall all cons are the ice production noises and loss of space inside. The depth of the unit past the countertops needs to be taken into consideration in regards to the work space in the kitchen. The fingerprint resistant stainless steel doors are easy to clean and look great.

Door slams on your arm/body

Love the look and features, however, the left refrig door with ice maker constantly closes on you while in the refrig, really annoying. YES, it is level. Went back to store, and their three floor models do the same thing. Your engr didn't adjust to the weight of ice maker and items in the left storage door (yes closes on arm with or without items in door).

Excellent product

I am very pleased with my new refrigerator. It is esthetically pleasing inside out. Performance too is exceptional and it is super quite. However the water dispenser is placed n an odd configuration resulting in spills. It would have been a far better design to put water dispenser at the back instead of ice dispenser. Despite that minor issue I would highly recommend it.

Almost perfect.

The refrigerator is great. We like everything about it, except one small annoying thing. The left door doesn’t stay open but slowly drifts partially closed. We’ve had the installer try to balance it a few times to no avail. There should be a stop or something designed into the hinge so it stays open. This is the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars.

Overall a great fridge!

Really happy with this fridge so far! I've had it for 2 months. It looks sleek and modern, and I especially love the handles—they don’t show fingerprints, which is a huge plus. The interior is very spacious, thanks to the icemaker being built into the door, leaving plenty of room for food. One small thing: while the plastic drawers look nice, they do feel a bit cheap compared to my last fridge—maybe just thinner plastic, or possibly just not as smooth edges. The freezer space is nicely designed with adjustable sections and a space for a pizza box. I love the top drawer, which helps prevent small items from becoming lost in the freezer. There are a couple of minor downsides. Both doors need to be opened fully to pull out the bottom deli drawer, otherwise it rubs against them. Also, I’m not a fan of the taste from the water filter that was included— I initially thought it was the new water lines and ran gallons through it before realizing the filter itself was causing the odd taste. I plan on replacing it with a different brand. Lastly, the protective plastic covering during delivery was a pain to remove, especially around the edges. Overall, it’s a great fridge with just a few small annoyances.

Multiple ways to organize with included bins and drawers. The outside Black Ore finish is a dream. Beyond easy to keep clean without streaks or smudges. The gold handles make it a showstopper. Great Fridge

We really like the consistency of the cooling in the refrigerator section and the freezer compartment. We have refrigerator thermometers in each compartment and the temps are right on. 37 degrees and 0 degrees. That's where the controls are set. The fridge is amazingly quiet too. The issue we have is the left hand refrigerator door will not stay open. You let go of it and it closes halfway. It also has a creaking sound too. I think the problem is the water lines leading to the door mounted ice maker/water dispenser are too stiff and will not flex when pivoting the door open. The floor models in the stores did not do this. I am going to need to arrange for a service call.

Bought this refrigerator to replace a competitors refrigerator that was only 4 years old. It’s a great design with really nice features. Good storage location and really like the pull out shelf. Makes it easier to remove heavy items stored on the shelf. Keeps all the products stored cold.

Great freezer

I bought about a month ago, very pleased with our purchase. The freezer is great , I buy a lot of frozen food and I still have not been able to completely fill it since there is so much space. It is very spacious and plenty of room. Just which it was a little brighter inside , used to the interiors being white and bright and its gray inside ,the light in the freezer is little dull but the space makes up for the light. It is very quiet ,you don’t hear any sounds coming from it. The ice cubes are little but they get the job done getting things cold.

Nice Machine with a couple of flaws

Very roomy fridge. Three concerns. First a considerable amount of space is lost because of the wood grained trim on the main shelf makes it difficult to put items right to the edge of the shelf. Second, the freezer drawer and pull out shelf do not slide easily. and third, the protective plastic film that was on the doors leaves a raggedly edge that looks terrible. This is because the film is installed under where the stainless meets the inner doors.

We have had this for about a month and couple not be happier. This fridge holds so much stuff. We went grocery shopping and it still looks empty. Also the water comes out of the machine ice cold. I will say this fridge dents very very easily. If you have kids or even pets who hit the front of it, or place a magnet on it to hard it will leave a dent which is very disappointing. Also the ice maker is very loud when filling up. Sounds like a car with a bad belt. Hence why only 4 stars. Besides that the functionality of the fridge is still worth every penny.

I’m really enjoying my new KitchenAid refrigerator with French doors. The one complaint I have is when you open the left side and close it the right side will open and close and you need to push it closed or close it with some force in order for it to close. It runs very quietly.

For how expensive it is, it really isn’t anything fancy for the price. My ice maker was wired wrong in the factory so cubed ice is really crushed ice and crushed ice is really cubed ice. Extremely annoying. The water dispenser and ice dispenser coating is already chilling off everywhere and shows excessive signs of wear and we haven’t even had it 3 months. Disappointed in the price for the quality of the brand name

Disappointed

We bought the set of dishwasher, stove,and refrigerator Juniper thinking for the price it would have more common features like Wi-Fi compatability or a second ice maker. The doors are not as well engineered as the rest of the refrigerator. The ice maker door slams shut jarring its contents. The ice maker has had freezing up issues and randomly leaks water. The other door is much lighter and does not shut by itself. We also found the mechanics are very loud and annoying. Humming everytime it runs. The shelves and interior space is good,but the drawers seems to be a much cheaper level of construction. This is why we only gave it 3 stars and would not buy again.

Adequate Refrigerator

We like: Refrigerator has lots of room. Nice adjustable shelves. We like the compartments in the freezer and having a place for pizzas. We aren't thrilled: water dispenser is considerable distance toward outside of opening and doesn't allow for much space to put a glass. Often end up dripping water when stop filling glass if just pull glass away from dispenser. I ended up pushing the dispenser with my hand instead of the glass in order to compensate for this. Wish doors closed easier. You have make sure they have closed as simply pushing them does not necessarily close them all the way. The lights are fairly dim in the platinum interior.

I am very happy with the fridge itself, nice features and lots of space. My disappointment is in the French doors not closing without assistance. My previous same style Frigidaire doors would slowly close. i have gone thru and leveled the fridge and even allowed it to tilt back slightly and they still need assistance. With kids in the house it something we have to constantly monitor. I did reach out to where i purchased and they said its not common for the French doors to close automatically. I find that odd since my other units in a different brand closed just fine, something i wish i would of inquired about or payed closer attention too prior to purchase.

Horrible design and quality

The doors do not line up and the seal seems to not be working properly the fan turns on inside the fridge and is super loud I think due to the seal and the freezer is already icing over constantly and only have had the fridge 3 months the ice dispenser is also a horrible design it already has a bunch of scratches on the part you push to have the water come out and on the bottom tray as well the paint rubbed off. I am very disappointed in the quality of this fridge and wish it could be returned

Don't buy

The ice maker in the door jams quite often. Which is bad, but what's worse is trying to fix it. You have to open a panel on the inside of the door, easy enough. But then lifting the ice bucket out is often impossible, no matter what angle you lift from or how much force you apply. Then the only fix is to remove the cubes from a tiny opening at the top one by one until you can get a skewer in far enough to break up the jammed ice. All the while the door is open and contents are warming. I can take over 20 minutes to fix. It's an absolutely disastrous design.

That LEFT DOOR!!!

This fridge is beautiful (except for the protective coating in the seams that is apparently impossible to get out completely without tweezers.) However, like many others, that left door will constantly attempt to close on you. We had the repair guy out to look at it. Apparently there is nothing wrong with it, it's just the way it's designed... That is completely unacceptable for the KitchenAid name and price. The right door functions normally. If you want it to stay open, a gentle push beyond a slight resistance at about the 100 degree angle, and the door stays open! The left door has no such catch at any point during its opening swing. This makes it nearly impossible to use the wide drawer at the bottom of the fridge, or do anything in the fridge requiring two hands, without the left door slamming into your arm/hands/food/drawers etc. So frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully KitchenAid creates a modification that will allow both doors to stay open (and make that fix free of charge!) to make up for this poor design choice!

Overall, not for us

The product had a couple of features we liked. Outside Appearance, interior space & noise level was fairly quiet. The unit did cool well. The features we DID NOT like were. The Ice and water dispenser arrangement was inconvenient to use, especially the water. The Shelving positions were awful. Hard to arrange and use. Then there was the HUGE top shelf. Almost impossible to manage. The lighting was also bad and the interior was dark. We disliked the unit so much we returned it to the vendor.

Won't buy KitchenAid ever again

I am completely disgusted with this refrigerator. I have been a loyal KitchenAid customer for over 20 years. All my kitchen appliances are KitchenAid. But my 10 year old KitchenAid refrigerator would no longer keep cool, even after Flamingo techs came out time and time again, finding one thing wrong and then another. Everything I read said don't buy a new KitchenAid refrigerator. But being brand loyal, I did. This thing is a piece of junk. It does cool consistently, I will say that. But the left door continually closes on me when I open it. However, when I'm finished and get out of the way, it only closes partially and stays open. The ice and water taste like plastic even after running about 30 gallons of water through the filter and throwing out over 15 bins of ice. The compressor is too loud and so is the water when it refills the icemaker. I've had two Flamingo techs out here over this new refrigerator and both have said they have had multiple customers complain over the water and ice tasting and smelling like plastic, and Whirlpool (Parent company to KitchenAid) has told them to tell customers there's nothing wrong, or the owner should buy a Pecks waterline... I don't know what that is but Lowe's required me to purchase a new stainless compression waterline when they installed the refrigerator so it's not a waterline issue. Oddly enough, I bought a Maytag refrigerator for my daughter that looks identical to my KitchenAid, and when Lowe's installed it they put in the same new stainless compression waterline as they did for me. Within 4 gallons of water run through their filter, the water and ice are delicious. And Whirlpool is the parent company of Maytag too. KitchenAid!! Pay attention!! Your company needs to make this right for your customers. If not, the negative customer reviews will end what little reputation your company still has. I will not buy KitchenAid again, and I'm spreading the word about the lack of quality.
