Amana 28" Top-Freezer Refrigerator With Dairy Bin In Black ART104TFDB

Yes. Reviewers consistently report surprise at how roomy the interior is for a smaller unit. Many note it holds significantly more than expected, with ample space in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. Several owners who downsized from larger models report they have all the capacity they need.

Most reviewers report the unit runs very quietly. However, a small number of owners note it can be noisy with unusual sounds like gurgling, whining, or growling—though these appear to be isolated cases rather than a widespread issue.

The refrigerator features a clean, simple design with side-mounted handles rather than front-facing handles. Reviewers praise the flush handle design for its sleek appearance and ease of use. The no-frills aesthetic makes it easy to keep clean.

The freezer is consistently praised for reliable performance and good ice cream freezing. Most reviewers report it works well and holds a good amount. A few owners note it would benefit from additional shelving or a light, but these are minor preferences rather than functional complaints.

Reviewers frequently describe this as an excellent value—a basic, reliable unit at a reasonable price point. Owners appreciate that it avoids unnecessary features and complexity, which keeps costs down while delivering solid performance. Many note it's ideal for those who don't need premium extras.

The refrigerator features wire shelves and a single large crisper drawer that spans the width of the unit. Some reviewers prefer glass shelves for aesthetics, and a few note the large drawer can be difficult to organize. The dairy bin and beverage compartments are well-designed. Overall, the layout is functional though storage options are more basic than premium models.

The doors are reversible to accommodate different kitchen layouts. One reviewer who reversed the doors reported the process was challenging, particularly removing the small plastic plugs that cover the opposite-side screw holes. Most other owners report straightforward installation and delivery.

Most reviewers report the refrigerator maintains accurate, consistent temperatures and keeps food fresh effectively. One owner noted difficulty figuring out how to regulate temperatures in both sections, suggesting the controls may not be immediately intuitive for all users.
