Summit Appliance's MRF series combines a fully featured microwave with a European freezerless refrigerator in one compact unit, measuring 23.63 inches wide, 43.01 inches tall, and 24 inches deep. This innovative combination refrigerator-microwave operates on a single plug, ideal for hotels, offices, and efficiency apartments.
The refrigerator offers 5.5 cubic feet of interior storage capacity with automatic defrost for minimal maintenance. Features include adjustable glass shelves, a removable scalloped steel bottle rack, a clear crisper drawer, and door racks for flexible organization. The reversible stainless steel door adapts to any layout.
The microwave includes a built-in power allocator that temporarily disables refrigerator power during microwave operation, then resumes cooling after the cooking cycle to protect against power surges. The jet black microwave features a digital touchpad control panel with one-touch settings for frozen food, potatoes, pizza, and popcorn, plus a door window for monitoring.
Additional conveniences include two USB ports for charging mobile devices and an easy-grab brushed stainless steel handle on the microwave. Display and end-of-cycle alerts can be disabled as needed.

Brand Background
About Summit Appliance
Summit Appliance, a division of Felix Storch, Inc., has operated out of the Bronx, New York since 1969, carving out a distinctive niche in specialty refrigeration that sets it apart from mainstream appliance manufacturers. The company's catalog on Fridge.com encompasses 907 active products, reflecting an unusually broad range of specialized cooling solutions. Rather than competing in the standard kitchen refrigerator market, Summit focuses heavily on commercial and specialty categories—the brand offers 161 upright freezers, 153 kegerators, 153 beverage centers, and 78 built-in units, alongside 161 french-door models. This distribution reveals a manufacturer deeply invested in foodservice, hospitality, and medical applications rather than typical residential needs. ADA-compliant models like the CT661WADA compact freezer demonstrate Summit's commitment to accessibility requirements, while units like the SBC15NKCSS kegerator highlight their strength in beverage dispensing equipment. With products carrying an average rating of 3.7 out of 5, Summit Appliance occupies the mainstream tier but serves markets that premium residential brands often overlook, making it a go-to source for undercounter installations, laboratory storage, and commercial beverage applications where specialized dimensions and compliance certifications matter most.
