Summit's ADA compliant undercounter lineup of European-made refrigeration features 32" high choices that offer the largest capacity in the industry, including fully featured refrigerators with freezer compartments to meet all of your storage needs. Sized at 32" high with a 24" footprint, model CT66BK2SSIFADA is a refrigerator-freezer designed for residential use under lower ADA compliant counters. The door features an integrated stainless steel exterior frame designed to accept overlay panels, allowing you to create a custom look that can seamlessly blend into your kitchen (panel size: 23 5/16" W x 28 1/4" H and at least 3/4" thick). This unit has a jet black exterior cabinet and runs quietly at less than 33 dB. Inside, the CT66BK2SSIFADA offers nearly 5 cu.ft. of storage, a higher capacity than virtually any refrigerator-freezer in this size class. It features a black interior liner and black trimmed adjustable glass shelves for spill-proof storage. We also include a removable scalloped steel rack ideal for holding bottles in a horizontal position. A large clear crisper makes it easy to store produce at its best and three clear door racks let you keep condiments in easy reach. A light automatically illuminates the interior when the door is open. Summit's European lineup features classic mechanical controls. The dial thermostat ensures an intuitive, trouble-free performance without any internal boards or chips. The advanced dual evaporator system allows separated cooling of the fresh and frozen food sections. The refrigerated compartment utilizes low maintenance automatic defrost, while the interior freezer compartment is manual defrost to achieve lower storage temperatures ideal for ice cream and other frozen food. The CT66BK2SSIFADA is UL listed for residential use. With its large capacity, professional finish, and user-friendly features, this refrigerator-freezer is a convenient option for homes, offices, schools, and other settings in need of reliable cold storage. Brand Background
About Summit Appliance
Summit Appliance, a division of Felix Storch, Inc., has operated out of the Bronx, New York since 1969, carving out a distinctive niche in specialty refrigeration that sets it apart from mainstream appliance manufacturers. The company's catalog on Fridge.com encompasses 907 active products, reflecting an unusually broad range of specialized cooling solutions. Rather than competing in the standard kitchen refrigerator market, Summit focuses heavily on commercial and specialty categories—the brand offers 161 upright freezers, 153 kegerators, 153 beverage centers, and 78 built-in units, alongside 161 french-door models. This distribution reveals a manufacturer deeply invested in foodservice, hospitality, and medical applications rather than typical residential needs. ADA-compliant models like the CT661WADA compact freezer demonstrate Summit's commitment to accessibility requirements, while units like the SBC15NKCSS kegerator highlight their strength in beverage dispensing equipment. With products carrying an average rating of 3.7 out of 5, Summit Appliance occupies the mainstream tier but serves markets that premium residential brands often overlook, making it a go-to source for undercounter installations, laboratory storage, and commercial beverage applications where specialized dimensions and compliance certifications matter most.
