I used it right away and we love it. It puts air into the ice so it is very easy to chew (If you enjoy that) and makes ice very quickly. It does melt fast due to the lightness so be sure to fill your glass with ice, not just 8 cubes. Hoping it lasts for awhile. I did buy the…

Doesn't keep ice frozen very well and ice is so wet that it sticks together once put in the freezer. Difficult to dry the insides if you're going to not use for a few days. Wastes water. It doesn't use about half of what you put in it before it needs water again.
