This compact refrigerator is designed for use in dorms, bedrooms, offices, or kitchens where a full-size appliance is not needed or space is limited. The reversible door allows for flexibility in placement depending on room layout and access requirements. As a compact unit, it will require an electrical outlet but does not need a water line. Before purchasing, verify that the dimensions will fit your intended space and that the capacity meets your storage needs.

How We Score It
Gathering the reviews
We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.
Calculating the average
Averaged across every source we found (Amazon, AJ Madison, and other retailers). Each source counts in proportion to how many ratings it has, so a store with thousands of reviews moves the number more than one with only a handful.

“Smaller than my last one (galavan) or something. But is very quiet. Won't fit a two liter in the door. About as tall as a 32" TV, maybe a 3rd as wide. Freezer has no bottom, I dunno I'll crank it up see if it igloos. If anything I figure some cardboard cut to fit the bottom of the freezer.”

CappyVerifiedMay 18, 2026 - Keeps everything very cold
This fridge keeps everything so cold. Its perfect for work. I am super happy with it. I should've purchased this in the first place instead of a cheaper one that did not keep the items cold and I had to toss.

The lineup also includes chest freezers, compact refrigerators, and a small selection of French door models. Antarctic Star's focus clearly leans toward supplemental cooling solutions rather than primary kitchen refrigeration, making it a relevant option for home bars, garages, dorm rooms, and outdoor entertaining spaces. With an average rating of 4.3 out of 5, the brand appears to satisfy buyers seeking affordable specialty appliances without premium pricing. Shoppers considering Antarctic Star should expect entry-level construction and features consistent with its budget positioning, though the breadth of its specialty refrigeration offerings provides considerable variety within its focused product categories.
