About Antarctic Star
Antarctic Star is a budget-tier brand established in 2018 under Rowan Appliance Inc., headquartered in China and backed by over two decades of OEM manufacturing expertise. The brand has carved out a distinct niche in compact and specialty refrigeration, with Fridge.com currently tracking 195 active products across its catalog. Ice makers represent the largest product category with 92 units, followed by beverage centers at 25 units, upright freezers at 23 units, and wine coolers at 21 units. The lineup also includes chest freezers, compact refrigerators, and a small selection of French door models. Antarctic Star's focus clearly leans toward supplemental cooling solutions rather than primary kitchen refrigeration, making it a relevant option for home bars, garages, dorm rooms, and outdoor entertaining spaces. With an average rating of 4.3 out of 5, the brand appears to satisfy buyers seeking affordable specialty appliances without premium pricing. Shoppers considering Antarctic Star should expect entry-level construction and features consistent with its budget positioning, though the breadth of its specialty refrigeration offerings provides considerable variety within its focused product categories.
