Gathering the reviews
We continuously collect owner reviews and public discussions from major retailers and community forums, de-duplicate them, and set aside anything we can’t tie to a verified purchase.
Calculating the average
Averaged across every source we found (Amazon, AJ Madison, and other retailers). Each source counts in proportion to how many ratings it has, so a store with thousands of reviews moves the number more than one with only a handful.

What owners talk about most
“Love my new refrigerator. Looks beautiful next to its matching freezer. I only wish it was full depth instead of counter depth, when all the family is together we fill it up quickly. This is the second set I have had. The first set lasted only 9 years, just hoping these last longer.”
Owners Answer
The questions shoppers ask, answered from real owner reviews and discussions across the web — not the manufacturer spec sheet.
This model provides 18.9 cubic feet of capacity. Reviewers consistently praise the spacious interior and flexible layout, noting it easily accommodates large grocery hauls and family-sized shopping trips. The thoughtful shelf and bin placement makes items easy to access and organize.
Yes. This model uses 218 kWh per year and multiple reviewers report it does not significantly increase their electric bills compared to older models. Several owners specifically mention being impressed by its energy efficiency relative to other refrigerators on the market.
This refrigerator measures 30 inches wide, 67 inches tall, and 32 inches deep. Several reviewers note the newer model is slightly wider and taller than older versions they replaced, so if you're upgrading an existing cabinet or opening, verify the fit beforehand. A few owners experienced tight fits during installation.
Owners consistently praise the clean, modern, sleek design and stainless steel finish. Many say it rivals the look of premium brands at a more accessible price point and complements kitchen décor beautifully. The absence of visible water dispensing systems and external drawers appeals to those seeking a built-in aesthetic.
A few reviewers note the door sits lower than older models, which can cause it to hit bare feet when swung open—a safety and comfort concern. Additionally, one reviewer mentioned the door does not close automatically when wide open. These are design trade-offs in the newer model that some users find inconvenient.
Several reviewers note that shelves and door compartments are relatively shallow, making it challenging to fit larger items. While the unit is wide, the counter-depth design limits how far items can sit back. This is a trade-off for the built-in aesthetic, and some owners wish shelves were deeper like traditional full-depth refrigerators.
Most reviewers are satisfied, but a small number report significant problems. A few owners experienced failures within 1–3 years, including issues with the door, fans, and control board. One reviewer had to replace the same model twice. However, the majority of owners report positive experiences, and long-term durability remains to be seen for most units.
Most reviewers describe the unit as quiet or do not mention noise as a concern. One owner reported a loud buzzing noise that developed within two weeks of installation, which they worry may indicate a larger mechanical issue. Overall, quiet operation is a strength, though occasional defects may occur.

We wanted a stand up refrigerator and freezer for our new home where we could create the built-in look and still have lots of space inside the units. We were able to achieve this with our new Frigidaire Singe Door Refrigerator and Freezer. Both, really compliment the look of…
I love the way the refrigerator and freezer look only issue is the shelves should be deeper like regular refrigerators are and should have option of water and ice on outside door. It’s very annoying having to open all the time to get water and again for the size shelves should…
The look of the clean front with no visible water dispensing system, and no drawers was a major factor in the decision to purchase. The refrigerator is not loud and provides ample space inside. The ability to position shelves and drawer dividers is a plus.
Oh my gosh, these are great and live them.

Brand Background
Frigidaire Professional represents the premium tier within the Frigidaire family, owned by Electrolux and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. This luxury line draws inspiration from commercial kitchen aesthetics, offering home cooks the look and functionality typically associated with professional-grade equipment. The Fridge.com catalog currently tracks seven active Frigidaire Professional models, with french-door refrigerators comprising the largest segment at four units, complemented by two standard refrigerator models and one standalone freezer. Notable entries include the PRFS2883AF french-door model and the PRDF1922AF freezer, both among the most frequently monitored products in this lineup. The brand positions itself for consumers seeking elevated design elements and robust construction without necessarily stepping into the ultra-premium commercial category. With its stainless steel finishes and symmetrical styling, Frigidaire Professional appeals to homeowners renovating kitchens with a modern, cohesive appearance in mind. While the lineup remains relatively focused compared to mainstream Frigidaire offerings, the concentration on french-door configurations reflects current consumer preferences for accessible storage and contemporary refrigerator layouts.
