Great Fridge!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great fridge to have especially for extra space for your gatherings or just to store extra food in general. We unboxed an hooked up within about 10 minutes it was cool and ready to go! The freezer space is adequate and the fridge has lots of door space and shelf space. I definitely recommend it especially if you have alot of get togethers. It doesn't take up much space and it works well for us!

Does the job despite imperfections

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

My garage fridge came with some minor scratches in the back wall plastic. The doors had some scratches, again minor. My biggest problem was that one of the several parts included for shifting the hinges to the left side was wrong-handed and I had to order a replacement. I’m still waiting for the part, so for now the freezer door doesn’t open smoothly. Otherwise the fridge works great, and it’s quiet.

Ready for summer get-togethers!

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator may be small but it can hold quite a bit. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles which is nice because you don't have to read a manual to get it going. I liked the sleek style and not having handles jutting out. The freezer holds quite a bit and keeps everything frozen. The fridge is great at keeping things nice and cool, but not freezing the items towards the back. The compartments are spacious and the drawers slide easy, even when full. My favorite part of the fridge is the smaller bottom door shelf for bottled water etc. It is such a great use of space. The only things that are a bit to get use to are the wire shelves which can make things a bit hard to move around on them. A simple fridge liner took care of that. The other issue is I feel it is a bit loud. Nothing extreme, but I do definitely hear it running. Overall, a fridge that is ready to help us have the best get-togethers!

Great Garage Refrigerator with Simple Controls and

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using the Frigidaire 19 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator in white for several weeks in a garage environment, and it has been consistently reliable. The garage ready feature was a key factor in choosing this model, and it has maintained steady cooling performance through both cooler nights and warmer daytime temperatures without noticeable fluctuation. Storage capacity is well balanced for a household of this size. The refrigerator section is easy to organize, and the layout allows for flexible placement of groceries, beverages, and prepared foods. The freezer compartment is simple to access and keeps items properly frozen. One feature I found especially useful is the Shabbos mode, which was straightforward to set up and convenient to use. It adds thoughtful functionality without making the controls complicated. Operation is quiet, which is important in a garage setting where noise can carry into adjacent areas. The overall design is simple and practical, making routine cleaning and upkeep easy. The only drawback I noticed is that the wire shelves can feel somewhat flimsy under heavier loads. Adjusting how items are distributed across the shelves helped resolve most of that concern. Overall, it is a dependable refrigerator that delivers solid everyday performance with a few thoughtful features that enhance usability.

This garage ready fridge is just the right size for extra space. It works well. Freezer full of out venison. Drinks in the refrigerator ready for the summer days! Drawers decent sized. Shelves easy to move around for space needed.

Garage fridge turned home fridge!

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Having used this fridge in my own for a few weeks now, I can say that I would recommend this fridge to anyone. It is roomy and quiet, and work great for our family! Anyone looking for a smaller yet still spacious fridge can rest assured that they would be satisfied with this garage fridge. I have cabinets in my kitchen built for a smaller fridge and so they wouldn’t accomodate some of the other fridges that are bigger. This one was perfect and I am so happy I took the shot on it! If I had one complaint about this fridge, it is the middle shelves being a coated metal material rather than a standard fridge shelf material. However, in my haste to get a new fridge, perhaps I did overthink the description of a garage fridge to assume that it would have all the normal parts a regular fridge does. So this aspect could very well have been my fault. Nonetheless, I am happy with this purchase and will continue to be!

Great Extra Fridge

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This is a great extra fridge/freezer for the basement. It is quite roomy and spacious for being a smaller unit. Love that you can easily change the temperature as well as change the direction that the door swings open. So far it keeps things nice and cold ans is convenient to get things in and out of. My one dislike so far is that the shelves are made of wire and not solid. The smaller things do sometimes slip through the cracks on the shelf. Still a great fridge for the price.

Perfect Fridge

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The Frigidaire FRTE1814AW 19 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Top Freezer Refrigerator is a winner in my book. I placed it right in my garage and plugged it in. It's not noisy. It's roomy and it gave me that bit of extra space I needed for food and frozen items. The interior is clean, the layout is simple and the ease of temp adjustments is a breeze. Located right on a touch panel inside. The one tiny drawback is that the 2 main shelves in the fridge are wire. So some items are tricky to put in. I wish it was flat completely. The freezer has no issues. Keeps things drozdn without any ice or frostbite on my foods. Overall this fridge is perfect for the money and large enough while still being compact.

EmLynn5050 · Apr 29, 2026

Great refrigerator for the garage

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

This Frigidaire garage fridge is great. It has been working well in my garage. I have plenty of space in the freezer and refrigerator to keep my food cold. I love that I can fit frozen pizzas in the freezer without playing tetris. The only downside I have is the refrigerator portion has wired shelves. Something to get use to. I keep my beverages in the box and it works fine. I read the manual, but doesn't seem to have a temperature control for the freezer alone. The two criper drawers slide nice and have slides to keep it low or high for vegetables and fruit. The side shelves can fit gallons of milk easily and can be adjusted.

lovestojam118 · Apr 29, 2026

Very nice fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I love the no handles for the fridge or freezer. Looks so much nicer. It runs very quiet and I put my temp zone on the coldest setting and its perfect. During the winter I'm sure that I might have to put it on cold. My temp zone inside the fridge also operates my freezer.

Solid Garage Fridge

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Got this fridge for the garage. We needed a bit more room. So far, very impressed with how efficient this unit is. Didn't take long at all to cool, and doesn't use much energy. I like how much room this freezer section on it has. The fridge is decent sized, and well lit. I will say, the pockets in the door of the freezer section are not very deep, isn't a big issue, as I think it clears up shelf space by making the shelving deeper deeper, but something to consider for your needs. The shelf on bottom in the fridge, could use a support, it feels a little flimsy. Fridge overall does a great job for us and looks nice.

collierunner · Apr 24, 2026

Great for our Shop

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator has been a game changer for our shop. The space inside both the fridge and freezer is exceptional. We have room for processing our own meats, having extra space for drinks and side dishes during cook outs. The door space works perfectly for condiments and even more drinks as shown in the photos. This works great as an over flow for the fridge in the house when I am doing a lot of cooking for big family meals. Set up was super easy. The one control panel for the fridge and freezer is a game changer and I like that there is no digital display. The freezer is keeping everything absolutely solid frozen and nothing is freezing in the fridge portion. A must have in anyone’s garage!

SamanthasLifeOutLoud · Apr 24, 2026

Reliable Performance, Solid Pick for Everyday Use

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator is a solid, no-frills option that gets the job done reliably. The cooling performance is consistent—both the fridge and freezer maintain stable temperatures, which is great for long-term storage. The freezer section, in particular, offers good space and can handle bulk storage efficiently. The interior layout is simple and functional, with adjustable shelves and clear drawers that make organization fairly easy. It’s also relatively compact, making it a good fit for apartments, basements, or secondary storage. Overall, this Frigidaire refrigerator is a dependable and affordable choice. It’s ideal if you’re looking for something straightforward and durable.

Spacious, Freshest Fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I've owned a lot of refrigerators in my time. This happens to be one of the most spacious and deep fridge. The fancy gagets of the other fridges seldom compare to the scent disperser that creates a sense of crisp fall fresh air as you search for your next meal, or midnight snack. Well made product, and we love the color.

Affordable everyday use refridgrator!

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

We have been using Frigidaire for the past 25 years and just purchased another one recently. Past 25 years, the older model has worked flawlessly without any hiccups. This new model is just like the old one, however, the opening grip is a new feature that I liked to avoid protruding outward when you have little kids running around the tiny kitchen space. The interior space and shelving design also feels more spacious and adjustable. We will keep watching energy consumption as time will tell.

So far so good!

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Purchased and installed in approx April 2022 and after 8 months still am happy. This is a no fills fridge with a compact footprint. Just what we needed for our small space. Yes, it would be great if it had a cheese drawer and more shelf adjustments but it’s simple and does not have ridiculous things that will break. I am unsure whether I am saving any $ on electricity after replacing the 1994(!) fridge but I’m not noticing paying any more. All in all I would definitely buy this again.

We bought this fridge for our kitchen despite being the garage model. We needed a new fridge with more space and living in an old farmhouse with no AC sometimes the temps fluctuate more than we like so we thought this was a good option and the price was well within our range. We didn’t realize how loud our old fridge was until we got this one in and the gentle hum was an unexpected surprise. So far it’s been wonderful. Only negative is the shelving. The racks do not hold a lot of weight and we haven’t been able to find alternative shelving options to buy.

Love the fridge but

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Everything is good but, I tried to find replacement shelves and was told that there is none. When we place small items on the shelf they fall sideways because of the large holes in the grated shelves. Otherwise everything seems to be fine.

We bought this refrigerator as our “basement”refrigerator, our spare/excess. It is a great unit. Large capacity in a compact design. Wonderful product

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I have been so happy with my new Frigidaire refrigerator. I love the simplicity of the design, and how easy that allows for easy cleaning. It offers a variety of shelf positions, the spacious door shelves make for easy access to items used more often, and the ability to adjust the temps. The icing on the cake, so to speak, is the exterior. We have a seven pack of pups, and this textured finish has now freed me from constantly wiping the "dog art" from the door!! If someone is old school, like me, or just wants to simplify their life by doing away with so many fancy options, buy this refrigerator! I've always loved Frigidaire products, and this is just another example of why I continue to buy their products.

Great Glossy Fridge

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

Nice fridge for the price. I rent a small apt. and was able to shop online for it. Limited to a 27 inch doorway. It came in with the doors off. A few days later, I like everything about it except one. Too shiney/glossy for my decor. I know, can't tell online, one pic. But overall it's great and fits the needs well. A muted black would be better.

The refrigerator was purchased for our vacation home and had to fit into a tight spot. It fit perfectly, is bright and spacious. I love the shelves on the doors. It's quiet and cools efficiently.

Great additional refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This Frigidaire Top Freezer refrigerator is exactly what we were looking for. We needed more refrigerator storage room, the 4.9 cubic foot freezer space and easily adjustable shelves in the refrigerator portion were perfect. The Energy Star rating made it even more desireable and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Love my Frigidaire

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

We bought a mobile home and while looking at the models we couldn't see inside the refrigerator because it was secured. When they delivered the home I was more than pleased at the room inside. It's running great. It's black which I wasn't to sure of but I now love black appliances.

Minnies mom · Nov 9, 2023

It's an okay basic refrigerator

AJ Madison · 4 out of 5 stars

The fridge came in the mobile home we bought. It was a basic refrigerator with wire shelves and 2 drawers. No ice maker included. 2 good wide shelves in the door. Overall a good refrigerator.

Perfect 2nd fridge

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This is a 2nd fridge & replaces the exact same model we had from years ago. It's perfect, and the only model that fits in the tight space we have for it. Why pay $$$ more when this one will do the trick? This model seems more spacious & better built than previous model. Love the door shelf space for all my everyday stuff. Great suction on the door. Very happy!

My Review for Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

It's nice and cold but the shelves on the door could be made better with a thicker material as these seems like they'll eventually break. The same goes for the bottom two drawers as they seem a bit flimsy. Other than that it's pretty quite. But I wish it would come with some type of charcoal filter you can install on the inside of the bottom and top compartments as when food has been left in there for too long the fridge will get a horrible smell. I took care of this buy putting some bbq charcoal in the freezer and in the refrigerator to keep smells at bay.

Out with the old, in with the new. I received my brand-new Frigidaire right before Thanksgiving 2022. It was easily installed and a beautiful upgrade to my kitchen. I like the style and how quiet it runs. It's very easy to clean; requires no scrubbing just wipe with a wet dish towel. Storage space is better than my old one. with a wet dish towel.

We are an apartment complex and have had to replace many refrigerators over the past 2 years. Because of low stock we have had to buy many different brands of refrigerators and this one is my favorite. It fits perfectly our need and works very well. We have now made this our go to refrigerator to purchase.

My revues fir 18.3 Cu.Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

I love my new Freezer Refrigerator. It's beautiful, has lots of inside room tand the freezer is easy to organize. I would like solid shelves rather than the wire ones because some items are harder to stand without tipping, but it's all good anyway. I look forward to a very long relationship.

Great Refrigerator!

AJ Madison · 5 out of 5 stars

This refrigerator is great! To be a basic model, I am impressed with the space inside! Gets very cold and keeps food fresh! The LED lights inside are nice and bright! Plenty of space for the average family! Seems well made and very well put together. We had it delivered and it arrived very well packaged and protected which I appreciated. Overall, very satisfied with this unit. Would highly recommend.

Too early to know

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

Received garage ready fridge one week ago. It has loads of space for a garage refrigerator. Not sure if the refrigerator is cooling enough. The freezer is cold. The outside walls of refrigerator run hot. Hoping that the refrigerator will last in my garage.

Mollita · Jun 16, 2026

OK fridge. Good capacity and efficiency. Can not regulate freezer temp independently.

AJ Madison · 3 out of 5 stars

Good calue for the money. Good capacity. Con: You only have 4 settings to regulate BOTH fridge and freezer. I have a thermometer in each compartment, and when the freezer temp is what it has to be (-20 0C) the fridge temperature is below freezing. Not ideal. But we cope.

Pretty Good

I really like the size of the fridge but there was only one thing that I was not a fan of. The fridge did not come with an ice maker and I have to buy and install it by myself. I am not too experienced with Handy man jobs, and this has been a challenge to figure out. I REALLY wish that ice maker installment could be done by the delivery employees.

FRIGIDAIRE is HORRIBLE all the positive reviews are part of a PROMOTION!!!

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MODEL! Frigidaire site says the average expectancy is 13 years and my refrigerator is less than two years old and The freezer motor is completely shot. Only one year warranty so you’re expected to purchase a refrigerator every year I guess?

Angry Debbie · May 18, 2025

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

Where are the temp controls. The manual shows some, but there are none on the model. Freezer works great, but refrigerator only gets down to 66 degrees. There are no visible adjustments. What am I missing? Also, the outside sides of this unit are hot to the touch.

Floridamad · Jun 24, 2026

Horrible shelving

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

I live in an apartment, so I have to take what I get, BUT the dumbest idea ever created by a refrigerator company is wire shelving for a refrigerator!!! Anything that may drip, goes on every shelf (if you want to call it that). Nothing indicating exactly which ice maker is for this specific refrigerator. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Stupid idea · Apr 18, 2026

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

Ice maker leaks has never been used because it has leaked from the day we moved in and was installed by the company. Called to get service with no call back and no service.

Horrible Product

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

We bought this in January and have only been able to use it for 2 weeks total. It makes a VERY loud noise. Sounds like a helicopter is landing in our room. We've had repairmen come 3 times to"fix the problem" , but keeps breaking down. We've called Frigidaire directly asking for a replacement Refrigerator and are told "We cannot replace it unless it is deemed unrepairable." After 3 times, don't you think it is unrepairable. I asked how many times do we have to have someone come fix the problem before it's deemed unfixable? Was told as long as they can keep fixing it. Really?? That is ridiculous and unacceptable. DON"T BUY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS. They don't stand by their products and leave you with a piece of crap that doesn't work.

AJ Madison · 1 out of 5 stars

New fridge, never cooled since the day it was plugged in. I've been through 3 service repairs, waited 9 weeks for parts, replaced nearly ALL parts and still no fridge. the amount of time and money spent on trying to have a working fridge is ridiculous for all parties. I just want a fridge that works. Absolutely livid and still have not fridge
